This Developers Update is dedicated to Singleplayer fans. The scale of battle changed significantly since the prequels. Some of the missions are huge and server as a backdrop to epic battles. This has allowed us to add lots of interesting tasks without limiting the player in their level of choice. Missions consist of 3 main elements: defending, attacking or stealth combat. Some missions include all 3 elements to give you a great variety of gameplay. Some missions are reminiscent of our previous title Soldiers: Heroes of World War II,owing to a similar style of gameplay. However the player is no longer limited to only control squad size troops, but also up to 100 Soldiers in immersive fights against a smart opponent. Stealth missions became a lot more authentic during the development, since the AI will now react to dead bodies lying on the ground . The player can take them and carry them into the bushes out of the sight of enemy troops that may come across them. ![]() | ||||||||||||||
